Hey Dickie, I think a video of how you physically do your journaling and notes/prompts would be super useful.

As someone who geeks out on goals and writes about them too, I suggest you consider adding a Net Worth and/or a Passive Income goal to your list of 2025 goals.

For strength gains, I highly recommend the book Bigger, Leaner, Stronger. I'm literally shocked at the results so far and I was fit to begin with.

Thanks for a great post and looking forward to more...

My entire career has been spent in the federal public sector. Breaking down how to create a paid newsletter for public sector departments or businesses that serve that sector would be an interesting nuance. It’s a little more challenging space to ‘sell’ I think but me in the digital transformation space, this is the where my expertise is.

Great reflections and goals, Dickie.

I’m most interested to see what happens as a result of the focus on mobility and meditation coupled with establishing a home base.

My father has cerebral palsy, and as he ages things are getting worse. Our bodies can imprison us, and seeing this has always driven my focus on mobility — the freedom to move through the world when your body is a benefit to do so rather than a barrier.

At the same time, this fluidity and fear of seizing up perhaps led to an unconscious fear of staying in one place too long and putting in the work of establishing roots.

The result? Fluid yet rootless.

These feelings of fluidity and mobility coupled with stability will provide great support for any mental, spiritual, emotional work you may tackle next.

Best wishes for your new year.

(Btw— I’m here on substack thanks to CNC. Great product!)

A framework for getting past “the dip” in anything you’re trying to do to help people like me stop restarting and instead push through to create greatness.

Bravo! Sounds like an exiting 2025 ahead.

And good heads up on the point about income vs expenses.

The moment you are in right now is a major transition for any business: the leap of northward of 12 team members. The bloat is real and the overheads tend to kill the profit. I'm sure you have a good handle on it and are surrounded by amazing people, just a lesson I learned the hard way, and then found out its a actually a thing. Yay to the entrepreneur's journey.

Love everything you are bringing to the world and YES you and Cole have changed my life!

✈️ Gracias.
