Nice Dickie! It's great to see another American getting out of the US and exploring the world.

You'd probably also enjoy Tokyo.

Very international. Easy to get around (trains and walking). And a ton to explore.

This is wonderful! My biggest tip is to talk with locals about the places they recommend in their home countries. This way, you travel deeper after having experienced the main hubs. Everyone's journey is different and I can't wait to read more! Journey on, Dickie!

Bravo!

Richard this is just beautiful!

I can feel your absolute joy all the way from home. I love know how content and excited at the same time. Truly a blessing not everyone is privileged to experience.

You have put in all the time and efforts needed to achieve your lofty goals, and I am ever so proud of you and the wonderful man you have become.

I love being a part-time digital nomad (a term I find pretentious, but I don't see "footloose freelancer" taking off), and I spent 3 months as one in Amsterdam about 10 years ago. I've lived in a few countries for 1 month (Thailand, 2017) to 7 years (Edinburgh, Scotland, 1992-99), and Amsterdam was #1 for feeling...comfortable, accepted, stimulated, eco-responsible, safe, etc.

I didn't find Copenhagen all that walkable, it's got more sprawl. As much as I enjoyed Barcelona, AI can't tell you that it feels totally different.
